RemotePoint Pro™

RemotePoint Pro has been created specifically for ASD systems providing an all-in-one remote sample point with an integrated NFC enabled smart chip for storage of data relevant to the remote sample point, such as its commissioning and inspection data, associated detector and location.

RemotePoint Pro’s unique two-piece compression fit slip-free design eliminates secondary hardware, accommodating practically any mounting structure thickness, making it suitable for blind hole installation. It’s leakproof barbed outlet structure reduces cost and saves time by eliminating secondary tube fittings for connection of capillary tubes. It is designed to connect with common 3/8” ID (8mm ID) capillary tubing.

RemotePoint Pro comes with a chamfered 5/64” sample hole that can be drilled out to accommodate sample pipe network design requirements. Installers simply drill the 5/64” provided pilot hole according to hole size needed then install.

The NFC smart chip integrated into the RemotePoint Pro sample point permanently stores information electronically, providing a convenient method for documenting and retrieving information related to the remote sample point, such as hole size, custom name, associated detector and location, calculated performance, commissioning benchmark data, and subsequent test & inspection data using the ASD InspectPro™ App available for IOS and Android devices.

RemotePoint Pro sample points are constructed using durable flame-retardant thermoplastics having excellent resistance to chemicals and extreme temperatures between -4° and 176°F. RemotePoint Pro sample point housings are permanently marked with embossed text warning that it is part of a fire detection system and to not paint, eliminating associated cost and need to apply secondary labels.

RemotePoint Pro sample points come fitted with an identification label constructed using durable self-adhesive PET material. The label is antistatic, waterproof, chemical resistant, lays flat, and will not self-peel. Labels are pre-printed with relevant information such as an NFC identifier to inform that the sample point is NFC enabled, part number, and a QR code containing a unique serial number for identification and management.
