PurgePort Pro™

PurgePort Pro is equipped with NFC smart chip technology for permanent storage and retrieval of commissioning records and inspection data (iOS/Android compatible). Data stored includes installation date, associated detector and pipe number (multi-pipe systems), inspection history, next inspection due date, last purge date/pressure/duration, and a unique serial number for asset management and traceability.

Unlike traditional methods, which usually entails a manually operated ball valve to isolate the ASD detector, PurgePort Pro can easily be integrated with automated purge systems connected to plant air, such as ASD Accessories, LLC SureFlow Pro™ multi-port purge controller, eliminating human intervention, failure points, and the need for costly electronic solenoids.

Air sampling smoke detectors (ASD) are widely used in critical environments, including data centers, cold storage, industrial and commercial facilities. These detectors rely on a network of sample pipes installed within the protected area that draw ambient air through sample holes to a central detection unit. Over time, dust, lint, and airborne contaminants can accumulate inside the pipe network and over sample holes, compromising airflow and sensor performance. In cold storage applications, the accumulation of moisture can lead to ice plug formation, further obstructing airflow.

PurgePort Pro is an industrial-grade, fail-safe inline check valve engineered for automated purging and maintenance of Air Sampling Pipe Networks. Designed specifically for use with ASD systems, this innovative valve features a pneumatically actuated check valve that automatically isolates the detector during purge operations, ensuring debris and harmful pressure does not reach the detector.

Built for durability, reliability and ease of integration, the valve maintains a full ¾" inner diameter for unrestricted airflow in normal operation. When compressed air is applied, the valve redirects airflow by first sealing the pathway to the detector then opens a purge path to the pipe network – automatically restoring to its default position once pressure is removed. Any residual pressure remaining within the pipe network is automatically exhausted ensuring unsafe pressure is not present at the detector once flow is restored.
