Pull Station Protector

The Manual Station Protector is a one piece plastic unit that fits around most Manual Pull Stations. It is specifically engineered to deflect a sideways blow from impacting on the pull station thus saving the time and expense of repeatedly replacing manual stations in high traffic areas.

The PSP has applications in Hospitals, Schools, Shipping and Receiving zones, all areas where Manual Pull Stations could be damaged by rolling carts, forklifts or other hazards.

Designed to securely mount to any type of wall, the PSP can be mounted behind a pull station in “new construction” or modified to fit over an existing station in the field.

Have a station that has it’s access key on it’s side? The PSP can be field modified to allow access via a “scored” cutout area on the face of the unit for a right or left side key.

Besides the obvious protective functionality of the PSP, it can also be used to highlight the presence of a manual pull station in a dark or busy area.

Pull Station Protector

The Space Age Electronics’ PSP is a 8.13 “ High x 14.13” Wide x 1.75” Deep, single piece assembly that allows for the protection of a Manual Pull Station.
The PSP has a 6.88” High x 6.13” Wide opening in the front where the Manual Pull Station resides. The spacing of the four mounting holes that secure the PSP to the wall framework is 7.13” High x 13” Wide.
The mounting for the Manual Pull Station is standard single gang device mount spacing and is mounted through the PSP in New Construction, and the PSP is modified (removal of the single gang mount area) to fit over an existing Station. The extent of this area is scored on the back of the unit.
The PSP comes in Red, has the word FIRE in raised White lettering, and is supplied with 4 screws and anchors for securing the unit to the wall. The Manual Station (or other device) is secured by two 6x32 screws through the opening in the PSP to the box in the wall.
The PSB is made of a UL Listed poly carbonate material.
